We are so grateful to share this sacred space with you, a place of peace, reflection, and enduring hope—the "It's Okay" Community Prayer Garden.
This garden is dedicated to the radiant and unforgettable spirit of Jane "Nightbirde" Marczewski. Though she passed from this world too soon, Jane gave us a profound and beautiful gift: a reminder that "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy."
Inspired by her courage, her faith, and her famous sentiment that it’s okay to acknowledge the pain while still chasing the light, this garden is designed to be a sanctuary. Here, amidst the quiet rustle of leaves and the gentle bloom of the flowers, we honor Jane's legacy of finding joy, beauty, and God's presence in the mess.
"It is okay. It is okay to be lost. It is okay to be confused. It is okay to need saving. We've all been there, and we'll all be there again."
While this garden offers solace to our local community, Jane’s work to support those fighting cancer lives on through The Nightbirde Foundation. This organization is dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing cancer navigate the financial and logistical struggles that often accompany treatment, providing much-needed grants and relief.
As you enjoy this space, we ask for your help. The beauty and mission of this garden are deeply connected to the Foundation's work. Every prayer offered here and every donation made helps ensure that Jane’s heart for helping others continues to beat, turning hope into tangible support for those who need it most.
May you feel empowered to lay down your worries, to breathe deeply, and to remember that even in the toughest seasons of life, it is okay to rest, to pray, and to believe in the possibility of a miracle.
